Products

Four products. Take the ones you need.

Each product is its own subscription, with its own app and its own web console — nothing forces you to take the set. Start with the one that solves today's problem and add the others when the need arrives.

Overwatch Comms

Two-way push-to-talk for any team in the field.

Instant voice over cellular or Wi-Fi, with a live map of where every member is and who is talking. Channels, priority alerts, hands-free VOX and a full recording of every over — without a repeater, a licence or a radio in the glovebox.

  • Sub-second PTT on any Android phone
  • Channels with Alert and Interrupt priority tiers
  • Live member map with presence and battery
  • Every transmission recorded and searchable
  • Own operator console: monitor, replay, manage

Fits: logistics, EMS, tow & recovery, security, events, hospitality, mining, facilities — anyone who needs to talk and see where the team is.

Overwatch Guardian

A panic button and location sharing, stand-alone.

One press sends your position to your response team and trusted contacts, and keeps sending until you are safe. Silent mode for when you cannot be seen calling for help, a PIN to cancel, and a duress PIN that looks like a cancel but is not.

  • One-touch panic with continuous location
  • Silent safety mode and duress PIN
  • Falls back to a phone call if data is down
  • Share a live location link for a set time
  • Sign up online — nothing to install server-side

Fits: lone workers, estates and body corporates, students, drivers, families and community response groups.

Overwatch Witness

Live streaming for incident recording and corruption monitoring.

Start a stream and the footage is off the phone before anyone can take the phone. Timestamped, location-stamped and stored where only you and the people you choose can see it. Made for roadside stops, site incidents, evictions and any moment where what happened will be disputed.

  • Live video and audio to secure storage
  • Tamper-evident time and location stamps
  • Notify a trusted contact the moment you go live
  • Keeps recording if the connection drops
  • Retention and access controls per organisation

Fits: motorists, journalists, activists, security officers, compliance and audit teams.

Overwatch Intelligence

Crime reporting and analysis for the people who protect an area.

Members report incidents from their phones; controllers see them on a map, categorised and time-stamped. Heatmaps, trends by hour and day, repeat locations and modus operandi — so that patrol plans and resource decisions are made from evidence, not from the last WhatsApp message.

  • Structured incident reports with photos and location
  • Heatmaps, trend charts and hotspot detection
  • One picture across the security companies and CPFs covering an area
  • Exports for SAPS liaison and board reporting
  • Web console for controllers, phone app for members

Fits: security companies, community policing forums, neighbourhood and block watches, estate management.

Industries

Comms is not a security product. It is a field team product.

If your people are spread out, need to talk without dialling, and somebody at a desk needs to know where they are — Overwatch Comms was built for you.

Logistics & fleet

Drivers on one channel, the yard on another, the dispatcher watching both on a map. No more phoning around to find who is closest.

EMS & medical response

Priority interrupt for the control room, hands-free VOX in the vehicle, and a recording of every handover.

Tow & roadside recovery

Job called on air, nearest operator visible instantly, the whole exchange on record if the invoice is disputed.

Security & guarding

Site channels, a company-wide priority channel, guard positions with battery level, and Guardian panic built in.

Events & venues

Stand up a comms network for a weekend on the staff's own phones. Tear it down on Monday. No hire radios.

Hospitality & facilities

Housekeeping, maintenance and front desk on separate channels, with the duty manager able to reach all of them at once.

Mining & construction

Works where site Wi-Fi does; falls back to cellular where it does not. Data usage measured and kept low for shift-long use.

Farming & estates

Farm watch and estate patrols on one channel, with the neighbourhood's incidents flowing into Intelligence.

Platform

Hosted the way each product needs to be.

The four products are separate systems, each with its own backend and its own web console, and each hosted in the way that suits what it does.

  • Comms is deployed per site. Your organisation gets its own instance — its own database, its own recordings, its own keys. Nothing is pooled with anyone else.
  • Guardian and Witness are multi-tenant cloud services. Sign up, add your people, and you are live — there is no infrastructure to stand up. Your data is partitioned from every other tenant's.
  • Intelligence is licensed per organisation, so a security company, a CPF and a neighbourhood watch can each run their own — or report into one together.
  • Encrypted in transit. TLS 1.3 for signalling, SRTP for voice, verified end to end against production.
  • Designed for a shift, not a demo. Location tiers that let the GPS sleep when nobody is moving. Control-plane traffic measured and cut. Battery that lasts.
  • Survives the network. Reconnects on its own, buffers positions while offline, and tells the user honestly when it cannot reach the server.
  • Role-based access. Admin and user roles, invite-only registration, and an audit trail on every change — in every product.

The Overwatch Comms operator console — one of four.

Four products, one incident

Each product does its own job in its own system. Here is how an estate security contract might use all four on the same evening — swap in any vertical.

  1. 1

    Guardian raises the alarm

A resident presses the panic button. The Guardian response console shows their live position, and their trusted contacts are alerted.

  2. 2

    Comms coordinates the response

The controller keys up on the site's priority channel. Every guard hears it, and the Comms map shows who is closest.

  3. 3

    Witness records what happens

The first responder goes live in Witness. The footage is off the phone and time-stamped before anyone else arrives.

  4. 4

    Intelligence learns from it

The controller logs the incident in Intelligence with its location and category. Next month's patrol plan is built from the pattern.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does Comms need special radios or hardware?

No. It runs on ordinary Android phones over cellular or Wi-Fi. Wired and Bluetooth PTT accessories are supported, but the phone is all you need.

How much data does a phone use on a shift?

We measure this obsessively. A handset idling in a channel costs a small fraction of what it did when we started, and we publish the numbers to customers on request. Voice is encoded at a low bitrate so an eight-hour shift with normal traffic stays well within a typical data bundle.

Can I buy Guardian on its own, without Comms?

Yes. Each of the four is a separate subscription with its own app and its own web console, and none of them needs the others to work. Sign up for Guardian alone and that is all you get — and all you pay for.

Where is my data hosted?

It depends on the product. Comms is deployed per site, so your organisation has its own instance — on request in the region of your choice or on your own infrastructure. Guardian and Witness are multi-tenant cloud services hosted in a South African region, with each tenant's data partitioned from every other's. Intelligence runs per organisation.

Can two organisations share a channel — say a security company and the local CPF?

Cross-site federation with time-bound guest access is on the roadmap. Today, the practical route is for both to report into a shared Intelligence instance, and to run a joint Comms channel on one of the two deployments.

What happens to a Witness stream if the phone is taken or destroyed?

Everything streamed up to that moment is already stored server-side with its time and location stamps. Nothing on the phone is required to preserve it.
